Dr. Robert Childress graduated in 1989 with a BA from Indiana University. He was a middle and high school teacher for nine years when he decided to return to school to pursue veterinary medicine. In 2008, Dr. Childress received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University.


He and his wife, Kim have four children: Paul, Adam, Leah, and Laurel. Two dogs, Tumble and Ella, round out their family. Dr. Childress loves orthopedic medicine. His free time is spent jogging, reading and being with his family.
